What is this?
We are planning a special return trip to Cowboy Dinner Tree near Silver Lake. This was really popular when we did it last year. We’ll have two ride options available - Alice will lead a paved route ride on back roads to LaPine where we'll turn onto Highway 31. Brad Stark will lead a longer, dirtier ride for the GS-inclined folks that will involve gravel, chunky asphalt and barely paved roads through Winema-Fremont National Forest. Details as we get closer...
A few things about Cowboy Dinner Tree - This wonderfully bizarre place is one of the most real and unique Wild West eating experiences in Oregon. When we confirm your reservation, you must choose between a whole spit-roasted chicken or a 26 to 30 oz grilled sirloin steak. No sharing allowed but doggie bags are provided so leave room in a pannier. It's all served family style with bowls of salad, soup, dinner rolls, baked potatoes and a dessert (we strongly suggest skipping lunch that day). They accept Cash only - $45 per person (not including tip) and no alcohol is served or allowed. We have reservations for the 4pm dinner seating.

Brad Stark is coordinating this ride so please direct any questions to him by email at sunriverguy@gmail.com and register early as space is limited to only 12 of us. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for this event. Registration is external from this website. Contact Brad at the above email.
