About this event
Our route will take us through the Cascade Lakes area and then up to Newberry National Monument. We'll ride past Paulina Lake and the Big Obsidian Flow to East Lake where we'll stop at the day use area for a picnic lunch. Bring a sack lunch and something refreshing to drink (non-alcoholic---we're riding). You may want to bring your cooling vest. We'll stop along the way to change layers and hydrate. Meet at the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center on the north side of Cascade Lakes Hwy, just a bit west of Widgi Creek and the Seventh Mountain Resort. <br />Please plan to arrive around 8:30am. Pre-ride briefing is at 8:45 am.
