President’s Message

Still in final stages of re-entry from last week’s rally, and what a rally it was!  It was a wonderful time, basically a repeat of last year without the rain.  I’d like to thank all the members who attended and all of the volunteers who staffed the rally for your support of our club’s premier event.  Some interesting stats include oldest female rider at 84, longest distance rider was from Galveston (1800 miles), and youngest rider was 24!

It’s now election time and we have three open positions:  President, Secretary, and Board Member at large; the timetable follows.

JULY submission of nomination

AUGUST nominations announced and candidate statements requested

SEPTEMBER voting

OCTOBER election results announced at Q4 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday October 3 at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport.

Volunteers are everything to our club. These are the people who offer their time to make things happen.  I’d like to thank all of our Board, Staff, and Rally Committee members for all they are doing to make 2026 a fun year for us.  And a special thank you to our Ambassadors who regularly lead events in their respective regions.  As a reminder, our Regional Ambassadors are;

Kyle Emerson Northwest Region kyle.w.emerson@gmail.com 615-351-3093

Kurt Miller Central & NE Region kurtmiller75@gmail.com 541-213-7545

Jeff Smith Southern Region jsmith132@me.com 541-890-2820
